FLU & COVID VACCINATION CLINICS

The main national Flu and Covid vaccination campaign for 2025, starts 1st October 2025.

We are holding TWO clinics for Flu and Covid Vaccination this year.  They are on:

  • Saturday 4th October                     9am to 4pm
  • Saturday 11th October                   9am to 4pm

They will be co-administration clinics (ie joint flu and covid) dependent on Covid vaccine availability. 

However, please note the eligibility criteria below.

The following cohorts are eligible (please note the difference between the two vaccinations):

  • FLU:
    • Those aged 65 and over
    • Those aged 18-64 in clinical risk groups
  • COVID:
    • Those aged 75 and over
    • Those aged 6 months and over who are immunosuppressed

Therefore not all those who are eligible for a Flu vaccination are eligible for a Covid vaccination

The eligibility criteria has been set by NHS England following advice from the Joint Committee and Immunisation (JCVI). We at London Lane Clinic do not decide who is and is not eligible.

TO BOOK AN APPOINTMENT

For the clinics, appointments are split into Flu only and Covid and Flu. Eligible patients will be invited either by text, email or by post. 

  • Text self-book link:  will include a self-book link to the appropriate appointment type.
  • Via the NHS-app – note the wording of your invitation and book into appropriate appointment type.
    • Please book into the correct appointment

If you unable to book using the self-book link or via the NHS app, then call the surgery.

  • We have a dedicated Flu and Covid appointment phone line – press 3 at the main menu – with lines open between 2pm and 4pm. You will not be able to book other appointments using this line. Refer to the wording of your invitation to ensure you are booked into the correct appointment.

HOUSEBOUND PATIENTS:

Our wonderful Health Care Assistants will be out and about again administering the vaccinations.  They will contact our housebound patients to arrange a convenient time.  They will start visits week commencing 13th October. Please be patient – with over 200 housebound patients, it will take a bit of time to get to everyone.
